997 tranny mount??
So my car is in the shop geting a lot of work done to it. Is it worth doing the 997 tranny mount upgrade if my tranny mount is still good?

yes, its has less voids than the 996 one....or fill the 996 one with window weld for a cheap alternative

When you are driving aggressively if the mount is not up to task the trans can shift from its normal axis which can cause sloppy shifting feel or even inability to go into a gear. It will also help reduce driveline slop that can cause wheel hop or clunking/vibration.

Motor was dropped today. My isntaller said my tranny mount was well torn. He has 997 ones in stock. So I'm gonna pop one of those in.
