Oil Pressure Gauge in Instrument Console

I noticed that my oil pressure gauge in the instrument console has stopped working, the needle simply doesn't respond to the car being switched on and off. I have no warning light and no loss of oil, can this only be the sender or can the neddle have stuck, fuse blown etc ?

My oil pressure gauge instrument console working but is very instable. The indicator up and down very fast. My 996 C2 didn´t work like that.

Yours oil indicator work like mine ?

I guess the sender is independent from the Electronic Oil level gauge ? which would indicate that I need to add more oil as needed ....
