GBox Detent - Help!

OK, got the 13mm bolt out of the way...but how in the HELL do you get the 8mm Allen cover out? I put the 1" allen stub from my socket into it, but there is NO way I can get enough leverage with the Gearwrench to remove it...its locktited in and feels like its tightened to 400 ft/lbs!!!

I don't see how a pry bar could reach up in there for additional leverage...anyone

Thanks!!

Pretty sure I remember them saying you should apply some heat.

I'll be installing mine this week.

Screw it...I threw in the towel. I even put a propane torch on it and couldn't bust the F-ing thing loose. I'll take it in...one hour of shop labor isn't worth the aggravation.

Kudos to the guys at Vivid Racing for making this seem so easy. 1 hour of shop time, WELL worth it!

The shifter does feel like it goes in deeper into 2nd gear. I'm glad I did this mod...my car does not suffer from 2nd gear popout...so this seemed like a good preventative fix to do...

Detent is now $180.

Price went up? I thought that I remember it being half that.
