remember to budget some money for rails. these seats are almost too cheap to be good. check fitment and shipping fees before you buy.

i find porsche's seats to be very comfortable while holding you in very well. you are looking for tracking purpose?

300 for a pair is a bit low for even poor quality replica seats...

Try F1spec seats, they are cheap, but the quality isn't that bad.
A bunch of Miata and Honda guys used them.

They are local to me (Bay Area, CA)
A few of my friends put them into their budget track car, and the quality isn't as bad as you think. Might worth a try.

These would be for tracking and solo. I went to the track the other day and all effort was trying to stay in your seat. F1spec seems to have some options that are defianatly close enough to budget. Here is another link for one I was looking at.

Looks like a smokin deal if they fit. I tried configuring my car on the eBay site and it said no-good for that option. For the occasional DE it would be a big improvement over stock. Hoping to install Boneheads old GT3 seats soon for same issue.

seats

No offense meant whatsoever, but why limit your budget to $150 per seat that will provide 90% of the contact between you and your $50k car? I worry for you that the quality might not be there and that they will support you less well than your stock seats.

Are you planning to track the car? If so, my first instructor told me "Race seats are the single best investment you can make for a track car. They connect you to the car in a way that sport seats simply cannot. It's like sex with a condom or sex without a condom" You really want to feel what you are doing
