hey guys just bought my first porsche black 01 996tt with 30k. great car i have little problem im hoping to get help with. had the car a little over a month now and not often but maybe 10 times now while driving with the headlights on the drivers headlight will go out. if i turn switch off and on 2or3 times the light will come back on. any info would be appreciated.

 

i have no idea what it could be but have you been driving arround framingham lately ? ive been seeing a nice black 996t lately

 

Headlight switch is known to fail. There is a very good diy made by smistry007 here: https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...e-replace.html... See post#6 mentioning cleaning of the switch..But it can also be your litronic control unit that can be switch to the other side for troubleshooting. A box located behind the headlight assembly. Get a used one on Ebay if your troubleshooting point in that direction....

 

thanks for the tip i talked to a few people everyone seems to think its the switch. ill try that first if it dosent work ill try switching the wires.

 

havent been in framingham except passing it on the pike a couple times. i like those wheels, what kind are they?
