Forge DV - Correct spring?

Hi,

My Forge DV cames with 4 springs (green, yellow, blue and red).

My 996TT is running 1.2/1.3 BAR and the waste gates are oppening at 13 PSI.

What is the most suitable spring for my setup?

Green - 5-15 PSI

Yellow - 15-23 PSI

Blue - 23-30 PSI

Red - 30 + PSI

Thanks,
VS 996TT

I actually had a problem with this recently. I run 2 bar and I assumed I needed the Blue spring. I had some issues with DVs not being able to release enough air due to stiffness of the spring.

I would either use a Yellow which is what I use now or use the Green if you have issues with Yellow. Yellow was the preinstalled one in my Forge 008 DVs.

Hi,

Ok. So more stiff spring not means more turbo pressure.

Please, can you describe your problems with the blue spring.

Thanks,
VS

You DEFINETLY do not want to run the BLUE spring on your car. Trust me.

DVs are electronically controlled by a solenoid and it cant handle the BLUE spring.

Prodigymb,
I understand you and I will not go install the blue spring.

However, my car run only 1.2/ some times 1.3 BAR and I would like conclude if the green spring is better than the yellow.

I would like know your issues with the blue spring to compare with mines.

I can not get 1.3 BAR solid. If I do more than 13 PSI pressure in the WG the car cut the boost. One way to resolve this could be install the green spring and try put more pressure in the WG (14/15PSI). What do you think?

Thanks for your helping,
VS

Use the green spring with no spacer.
