got my Fuel today! Just waiting for the Engine to show up

 

Finally some good news!! Motor is shipping Monday-Tuesday!!! Here we go!!

 

corey what fuel system did you use for e85? i know you used todds, but did he modify it for you any ? is it feeding each rail seperatley ? and i assume its the in tank pumps? no surge tank...

 

Yes im using Todds dual intank 044 pumps with a 3rd 044 external. With a -8 feed line. Feeding both sides of the rails. I opted to keep my 996 rails.
Dont think i will be starving for fiel but ignition will be the factor.

 

Gotcha, how come you chose to keep the stock rails?
And your also not feeding the rails separately? Or is that not a factor?

And are you keeping stock fuel lines?

As for spark, why do you think that will be an issue?
Just curious, as I'm not overly familiar with the bigger fuel systems.

 

Im feeding both sides of the rails with a -8 line. The rails are good enough as long as you upgrade the feed line. Even back in my T-Type days i use to run a -10 and use the stock feed as the return. Good enough to make a 9 sec pass.

I dont know if the stock coils can burn the E85 clean. I will have to see hiw that goes.

 

Gotcha, I think mark has stock coils, and his car runs strong.

Not sure about the plugs. What plugs does want you to use for e85?

 

The plugs he put in the engine. Denso pk20pr-p8 gapped to .025"

Still thinking about using the a diffrent coil. I got time still
