Intercooler hose required?

I want to upgrade the hoses that go from the turbos to the intercoolers.

What is on there now is the stock hose that is connected directly to the billet K16's; then to the AMS intercooler with a short silicone hose that is hose clamped to both the intercooler and the old C-clamp flange of the Stock hose.

IMHO that is a poor set up as the old C clamp flange is not the best thing to clamp to. Proof being I blew off the right intercooler hose when I punched it on an off-ramp about 2 weeks ago.

Before I do much more driving I really need to go through the car myself, I am just so fussy and most people are not.

Are there any better hose's out there for this connection, if so name brand and a link would be good.

Thanks

most often its not the hoses.. OEM work fine... others do too... sometimes its the IC that has a a slightly different flange on the end tank... I have seen it all...
Do a pressure test after you figure out your problem.. I have seen after market ICs as well as hoses leak at that connection...
Also, if your Ics have not been tested on various hose fittings then you have no idea that whatever you buy will even seal and or fit.... don't ask me how I know lol

No real problem to figure out, I blew a boost hose under high boost, the factory hose flange is the same size as the IC flange. I just think the connection on the factory intercooler hose is just not ideal to hose clamp a silicone hose to. I know the right side came off due to a sloppy install but I pulled both sides off and modified them both to prevent future issues; removing one extra connection is to my liking so as to keep it simple. Either that or I will just pull out the banding clamp tool and use a more perminant clamp on the hose side; that does sound cheaper.

Anyone know of a hose without the factory style end on it that is long enough to connect to an intercooler with a hose clamp end. Basically it should be the same length as the OEM hose but to the end of the male intercooler flange.
