KW Variant 3 - TT Vs GT2 Differences?

Just been offered a set of KW Coilovers

They're GT2 part numbers
Can I fit them, and will they work on my Turbo?

I've just seen the KW coilovers have different part numbers for the Turbo and the GT2

Anybody know what the differences are, and if they're interchangeable at all?

Enrique

What spring rates are you running on your car?

My coilovers have just arrived, and as they've been rebuilt I'm trying to confirm their specs before fitment

I've sent an email to KW in Germany, I'm just waiting to hear back from them

Thanks man
I spoke to the guys here in the UK, but they couldn't help me as the coilovers are sent to Germany for rebuilding and servicing

I've just got an email from KW in Germany and they're looking into it for me

The coilovers I've got are KW 'Manthey' Clubsports
I'm just checking to see if any valving or spring rates were altered from their original spec when they serviced them

I should also say, KWs customer service has so far been perfect

Bringing this back up again

So, I have my GT2 KW coilovers as well as the sleeves to allow them to fit to the Turbo uprights

Now I need to get myself some droplinks

I've been told I need the GT2 droplinks as the mounting point is different on the GT2 versus the Turbo

BUT, what if I buy adjustable droplinks?
Do I need Turbo or GT2 ones?

I've read I need GT2, but won't the hit the front driveshaft on my car?
Aren't turbo droplinks bent to allow for the driveshaft, whereas the GT2 ones are straight as they're RWD?

And - where do the droplinks attach to anyway
I've heard when fitting KW coilovers the mounting point for the droplinks is moved somewhere else?

Anyone able to shed some light?

Thanks

I went with the TRG drop links because they mount to the carrier, not the shocks. Made it possible to work with adjustable sway bars, PSS9s without fouling the A-arm. You can use the TRG links with pretty much any shock setup out there because it attaches to a better point.

Haahaa.....think I'll keep em a little longer first

I'll let you know what they're like when they're fitted

I got the "Manthey Clubsport" version, so they should do quite nicely
