30K Euros is ±$39K USD. You can find 2001 Turbos all day in USA for $40-$41K and it would be a lot easier dealing with the US than Europe in case I ever needed any support.

I already calculated that regardless of purchase price, I will end up paying between $15K-$17K in importing the vehicle. Add purchase price, all of the sudden it is an entirely different budget.

To add "fun" to it all, I have a verbal agreement that my 2003 Cayenne Turbo is sold next week, but all I could get for it was $18K! It took me nearly a year to get it sold. Interesting that when new, my truck and the TT mentioned above cost close to the same amount, but 10 years later, one is worth nearly 4 times more than the other!

Lots of numbers and options floating in my head right now, so I am just going to "relax" a bit and think things through a tad more carefully before making any purchase.
