Service Advice The Collection or Champion?
Service Advice The Collection or Champion?
Hi I bought my car at champion (about 45 min away) and the Collection is about 1 minute away from my house. It would be much more convinient for me to use the Collection but the service guy from Champion says pretty much not to take it to Collection. Has anyone had experience and would like to share with service at these dealers. What do you guys recommend I do? Will they give me less priorities at the Collection since I didnt buy that car there? WIll the prices for service be about the same?
Thanks
Thanks

I have used all 3 and Braman is the one place that always comes through. Between those 2 tho, Champion. See Danny, great guy!!Evan
Champion
I live in between both dealerships and presently have a 01 turbo, which makes my fifth porsche, all serviced by Champion. Some I bought there, some I did not, this made no difference to them. I bought my Turbo pre -owned from the Collection. The sale part was easy and the salesman was great. My dealings with them on my intial recalls were not good (mechanic was inept). I also did not like the attitude of the service advisor (a fast talking bullsh-ter). The people at Champion are great, they service many Porsches and have seem to have seen it all. I will say that like any dealership, if they lost their best people than quality would drop, that seemed to be the problem during the time I went to the Collection, maybe they have solved that problem. e mail me if you need something. It is convinent to be close though. good luck, Ritchie
I've had nothing but bad experiences with The Collection's service department. Their new Porsche service manager seems to be a stand-up guy, but the service advisors and techs I've dealt with thus far have been dishonest and/or incompetent.
I live and work less than 5 minutes from The Collection, but will be taking my car to Champion or Braman from now on.

Unreal
It is unreal how bad they are (The Collection), they neeed to get their act together and stop concentrating on the food in the waiting area (pretty good though). It is a great place to look at women, hot , hot Milfs and Latina honeys, I should probably sell some of my bikinis in the waiting area
I bought my car used with 1000 miles, at the collection. They certified the car. after driving home, 150 miles, I discovered that they did not put the oil cap back on after the oil change. I am lucky that I didn,t lose it during the drive home.

Nice Milfs there
Mine was certified there as well. The car was running great, but when I returned for recall work they left a turbo hose off. When I returned an hour later the mechanic who rode with me said the car was fine. 2 months later Champion took 1 second and put the hose back on (it was not something I could have seen). For that 2 month period I was wondering why I bought a car that did not feel anymore powerful than my 993.
As this topic was brought up in previous threads, CHAMPION is the place where you need to go. I have experince with both which is quite extensive. Danny @ Champion is the man. Always tries hard to get things done the first time with no stories.
True , COLLECTION is the place to go if you want to hook up with some horny/lonely MAMASITA who's husband has left her the car to take there for service while he is travelling on business with his secretary who looks like a Latina soap opera ho.

collection has been bedy good to me
Take into account that there are many different people you may have to deal with when you take your car in for dealer work - all with different personalities and skill sets.
I have few little things done to me car and have always been traeted more than fairly and have always had warranty issues completelt covered by them no questions.
That being said...I have dealt with a few different techs and a couple of different service advisors at collection that were a few brain cells short of forrest gump.
Rich has come through for me everytime with flying colors - no BS with him. The best way to handle it is to cut out the service advisor and let Rich get you set up with them. He builds and mods drag bikes and knows his **** when it comes to our cars - most importantly he is a porsche owner and fanatic.
If you'd like to contact him directly pm me and I'll set you up. He is no games. Every tech can have a screw up here and there but it all comes down to how they handle themselves when it occurs. Rich shoots straight and is a professional. My .05c

Champion, Luis B is the man...no one understands mods better then them and they have the motorsport division as well. The Collection is totally clueless and have damaged a few friends cars...Braman may not be bad but it is a haul to WPB...
Thanks i will try the Collection this week, Orli hooked me up with the his service advisor. I live right by the Collection merrick Park and have to agree i love the girls around here, I always hit up the Business lunh Special at the palm there you get a sald, steak and a side for 16 bucks. But the hottest girls I have seen lately was Pearl on Sunday nights, thats amazing. I went last night and about 80% of the girls there were very hot. It was so good that ugly chics stood out
Champion all the way.. As hot as the latina chicks are at Collection, all you need to do is look at them the wrong way and have the wind blowing in the right direction and they are pregnant... Man do I miss Miami... 2 years at UM was enough for me...
