Any JIC Cross experts? Adjustment **** won't turn.

Have JIC Cross 15pt coilovers.
One of the Damper Adjustment ***** will not turn properly (passenger rear). I'm afraid to force it.
Was set at 14. I was able to turn it to 15, then back down to 13 - then it cannot turn anymore. I am trying to turn it by hand, wanted to try a softer setting in the rear, maybe @9.

Had my car at my shop for other work and they tried as well, no luck. They tried jacking up that end then turning, no luck. They did not want to force it either.
I'm not ready to replace coilovers or rebuild this one yet.

Their best advice was to leave it if I was OK with the setting.

I emailed JIC, no response.

Any tricks?

Try to gently pull downwards slightly while turning, sometimes they do get a little stubborn. If that doesn't work, try pushing up, wear gloves for good grip and twist those fingers pretty firmly.

And lastly make sure you are turning it in the right direction and that your settings are mixed up, try turning past 15 (but not too hard).

Thanks heavychevy..
I just found a tool that was in the glovebox - did not realize what it was for until now.

This allowed me to adjust the dampening settings whereas I could not do it by hand.

The fronts have the adjustment ***** built-in and are located on the bottom.

The rears are adjusted from the top (inside the car) and have a smaller 'bit' sticking up (not a ****) that I was trying to turn by hand, unsuccessfully.
Using this tool - hex end placed into the top of the coilover - I was able to make adjustments to the rears.
