K16 Billet vs umw k16/26

Shopping around for upgrades. Any comparisons between K16 billets and UMW K16/24. Also looking at Markski's Tial version k16 hybrid w/A28 blades.

Not sure if I'm going to bite the bullet with new intakes and injectors but would like to be informed about the above turbos.
Will do clutch and GT2 Slave conversion and intercoolers.

thanks
Steve

can't give you any comparison between turbos other than stock k24's, and hybrid 16/24's such as umw offers. but i have them and they are always ON. love em. k24's top end is ok obviously, but that infamous lag isn't just a rumor. near as i can tell, the hybrids are really best of both worlds. k16 quick spool and top end of 24's. ( duh ).

except to say that any of the above beats the stock k16 ( pffft )

Kevin will put Borg Warner 2280 ETT (cast 997 GT2 wheel) or 2283 ETT billet wheels in K16s (think he calls it a Stage 2B) -this is what most billet K16s are. I would choose the tuner you're more comfortable with.

I agree.. choose the turbos and tune together.... don't mix and match...
not all K16 billets are the same...
