Brake Pads Grinding

Hope someone can help me with an issue. Had Pagid yellow pads installed in early June for DE event. Ended up driving them on the street for about a month. Today I swapped back to original pads. When I took the car out there is a grinding noise when brakes are applied. When I am driving there is also a noise, like the brakes are rubbing the rotors.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. This is the first time I have swapped pads.

You can try Bedding your stock pads back in. Not sure if it will fix it. The track pads are made to work at a much higher temp. I've been told they are hard on rotors when cold...not up to track temps.

For yrs I used to swap back-n-forth between OEM (GT3) street pads and yellow/blk (F/R) but have heard from knowledgable sources that this may not be a great policy. Different pad compounds, deposits, contamination. The relationship between pad & rotor is not necesarily simple. Just leave the yellows on.

Thanks all for suggestions, rep points! Finally got around to checking the brakes today. Managed to put only one pad in backwards.

Still happy I did it myself not having a lot of wrench experience
