High oil consumption

Here is the situation, car starts doing blue smoke and lose some oil, no leak. When we went to the track, it took a quart during the day. Even on regular driving car comsummes lots of oil, at least compared to mine which almost doesn't take any.

Car has a28 turbo with water/meth and no cats so that doesn't help the smoking i guess.

We used to have some big oil consumption but that was because they forgot to install the check valve before the turbos when they were installed. It made a mess of oil inside the intake piping but now that is fixed and we don't have any oil in the inlet piping anymore. It stopped smoking but started to get worst these days.

I beleive a quart of oil during a track day is a lot. What else can be at cause? Valves seals? Anything internally?

this is scary.

thanks for any help.

HI, I would take a very good look into your exhaust pipes for a sign of oil residue and take a look at your spark plugs to get some ideas ..
Good Luck..

Like john said. Plugs and drop the headers and see if it is pre turbo or post.
