Pixel on Air Unit dead

Hello fello 6ers,
This past weekend one of my pixels on my heating/ac unit died, so now the 73 (random number) doesn't display correctly, along with many others, it just happened during a drive out east suddenly. I tried restarting the car to no avail, just hoping I do not have to replace the entire unit.

I will add a pic this evening.

I have been searching on ebay for a replacement a/c climate control unit (100-400), i see clearly that the PN's say 986/911, my car is a 2004 with navi (not that that at all matters), are all these units interchangeable? they look EXACTLY the same......A/C Climate Control Unit

thanks

Probably a good choice vs a new OEM unit.

anybody know if the parts are universal throughout the model year? ie 99 boxster AC unit work with an 04, everything looks the same.
