I am considering a new exhaust system for 996TT (X50) and need some input from people that have or have had one of their systems. Which system do you have and what do you like or dislike about the system you have such as sound level in and out of the car, ease of install, looks, etc.

have a 01 with euro pipe loud , it's great no drown not loud at all but a smooth sporty sound, also have 100cell cats

 

03 europipe loud I agree with Steve above.

Europipe on an X50 is what you want..... trust me :-)

 

I had a RUFF exhaust on an 02 Turbo I had last year & it rocked! no to loud & no droaning but sounded awesome when it was punched.

Very happy with mine...

 

The best way is to actually hear and compare.... many members usually end up with one exhaust but do not really have an honest comparison. I made one client a quiet version exhaust he complained it was loud. I made a race LOUD exhaust another said it waS TOO QUIET... LOL TRUST me when I say only trust your own ears as we all all have different perceptions of sound... to say the least...

This is great advice, there are a lot of great options now...too many to choose X company just because someone said so. Find what you like, call them and discuss what would be best for you and what your looking for in an exhaust. Good luck with the search!

 

Yep Europipes are indeed Very Heavy
