Too big spacer, make it smaller?

Hey guys, I bought by mistake 295/35-18 rear tyres instead of 295/30-18s. I want to be able to use my spacers, but I dont want to mess with the cars fender. Right now Im getting some scraping when I go over speedbumps a bit too fast and sometimes on the freeway. The marks on the tyres are not deep at all, you can barrely feel them.

I have 15mm spacers from H&R, how much material do you think I have to laithe/mill off to get enough clearance for my new tyres? I was thinking 2-3 mm's. Think it will be enough?

P.s, my car is rwd converted so the tyres wont hurt any differential.

Just buy another set of spacers. I have three sets with different thinkness; I used them based on different wheels and tires.

I'm not very mechanically sound and I assume the spacers must be perfectly balanced; so it is not something that I would do myself. I have two sets of wheels where they required different sizes of spacers, and different brands of tire make some differences too (that's why I got a third set).

I assume you'll not going back to the old tire size, right? If yes, you may want to mill it down and let us know.
