Take Notes when car is running great

I suggest when your cars are running great to write down when and how quickly boost comes on. For the last few weeks my car was reaching full boost, but very late. I thought it was my imagination. Then the other day I got a CEL. I drove to Champion right away without an appointment. The hooked it up right away and after 20 minutes said I needed a new MAF. I was in and out of the place in one and a half hours (I love those guys). Now I am reaching full boost in the low RPM's again. The moral - when you sense something wrong with these cars you are probably right.

Are you still running stock Bosch diverter valves?

My guy at Champion does not think there is a difference, but I am going to change them soon

My dealership said that they had never heard of a problem with them but a lot of the guys on the board have had to replace theirs with aftermarket valves.

IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY,PCNA SENT OUT A BULLETIN REGARDING DIVERTER VALVES.IT STATED THAT THE FACTORY VALVES COULD BE REPLACED WITH CERTAIN AFTERMARKET VALVES UNDER WARRANTY.
