Arrow Power Sport Seat Issue

After a recent detail job, my passenger 4-way power Sport Seat stopped its vertical movement. I reached underneath and discovered part #996.521.609.00 (drive shaft) has disconnected from part #996.624.322.00 (drive engine). It will not attach back on. Upon closer inspection it appears part of a plastic sleeve of sorts broke off the drive engine and is left on the drive shaft. This sleeve looks like it was “crimped” on the drive shaft somehow? In looking at the drive engine, it appears this plastic sleeve is part of a molded piece attached to the drive engine. Am I on the right track?

If so, my question is, do I need a whole new drive engine and drive shaft, or can the plastic sleeve itself be replaced? If it can, what is the best way to remove the piece of sleeve left on the drive shaft? How does the shaft attach to the engine? Does it “click” in or screw in somehow?

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

You should be able to just replace the drive shaft. They are pretty cheap (around $28 IIRC). There is a little metal bracket that comes on it. You can just unbolt the seat, and tip them back to replace. It is super simple. I did it recently.

Thanks. What are your thoughts on what appears to be a broken plastic sleeve?
