Did The Deed!!!

Order is in. My new 996 TT Cab will built in January and should be in my sweaty palms sometime late Feb early March.

I went with Speed Yellow/Black

Black Leather with yellow stitching.

Sport seats w/painted yellow backs.

Yellow belts.

Yellow guages.

Full Carbon Fiber Package.

Thicker Steering wheel.

... and a few odds and ends.

I will be sending this car to EVO shortly after delivery for the Stage IV GT, Bilstieins, Wheels and a body kit.

I guess subtle will not be a good description of this car.

Sounds like it might become my new favorite car on this board. I can solidify your # 1 position if you let me pick the wheels for you!

Red Devil, I am open to suggestions.

Darren, That's exactly what I am looking at. I want some wider fender flares so maybe Gemballa as well.

Soon2be, The basic hp numbers will be close. The MTI car on the nitrous would be no contest. But the MTI car on all motor vs the TT would be in favor of the TT, slightly. Especially at this altitude in Denver. The MTI car is CRAZY. Loud and obnoxious. I expect the TT to be more refined but nasty in it's own right. I guess we will have to see.

JAS, I can't wait. BTW nice collection you have there!!

I had a buddy who had a similiar setup to your Z07 but w/ less giggle gas and the car was a true beast

my own or the twist version which i think is 547. Don't color-match or go with black. Please!

Sounds like an awesome car. It looks great in SY. One suggestion on the stitching. There are three option codes for this; one for seats, one for doors and dash, and one for all exclusive options like handbrake, shifter, steering wheel, etc. Otherwise the wheel will be black and the handbrake & shifter will be grey (like mine). Obviously, that's if you want all this yellow stitching.

RDH, Thanks!!

Soon2be, BEAST is the right word.

TCM, You and me both!! Thanks!!

msindi, Pics will be up as soon as possible. Of course this car will not even be built until Jan ... Thanks!!

Hamann, Todd at EVO suggested I stick with the stage IV GT. The stage V gets an even bigger turbo and has some lag. At this altitude, (5250) it would be even worse. The stage IV GT retains that low end and will still provide more than enough power for a cab, while still being driveable. The Z07 would still probably beat a stage V, at least until the bottle runs out

Red Devil, I have some 19' HRE 541s on my Z07. They are awsome. On the P-car I am still undecided. Lightweight, maybe some Kinesis or Fikse wheels. Tech Art maybe but I like the big lip. I would not consider going with a painted yellow wheel but black is something that I may do.

ESK, I think I chose the whole stitching package, but I will double check on Monday. Thanks for the heads up!!

I second ESK's point. You need to specifically order yellow deviating stitching on the steering wheel, airbag, defroster vents, shifter and parking brake. Otherwise these will come with black or gray stitching. You could also order the center console storage lid with yellow stitching. Yellow calipers also would look hot on your car, and there's always the possibility of yellow dial faces.

Have fun!
