Yet another dismantling question ;-)
Yet another dismantling question ;-)
In the continuing saga of installing a two-way ham radio unit, I need to run a 1/4" diameter coax cable from inside the engine compartment to under the front passenger seat.
Inside the engine compartment, I figure the coax can follow the same wiring loom route as the harness from the electric cooling fan to the large rubber grommet inside the rear right hand side, just above the engine loom connectors.
Question is how to access it from inside the car ? The gromment seems to be behind the rear rhs air vent and presumably the cable loom makes it way to the ECU and other stuff (not sure where the ECU is located though).
I've removed the rear speaker box and can see a bunch of elecronics boxes under an aluminum sheet - not sure what that stuff does are where the cables are routed.
Any suggestions about the best route or means of remving panels for access would be great !
Thanks Tim
