Help Swap CDR 220

Hey all, I had a cassette in the turbo and decided to swap in a CDR 220. I have swapped the old radio for a CDR 220. I had to input the security code three times and the screen went to "wait". Left it it for 10 minuted and nothing.

Any help would be appreciated.

I would make sure you put the right code in, I believe it makes you wait an hour or two before you can try it again.

Hey Bud,

This will help you out tremendously... The radio code is tied to the actual serial number of the CD 220 you installed.

Loren over at Renntech.org will provide you with your radio code if you respond to this thread: http://www.renntech.org/forums/topic...20#entry227633

Be sure to give him the following information that he will need to give you a code:

Radio: Becker
Model: CR-220
Type: 4362
Serial#: Y5021134 - This is not your serial number; input yours in this exact format.

If you don't know how to obtain your serial number... It is located on a sticker on the right side of the radio chassis. You'll have to pull it out of the dash to see it. Loren will respond with a code within 24 hours normally.

Hope this helps you out. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Chris.
