Looking for clock post
Looking for clock post
Anybody have the clock post in an old instrument cluster? The post I have is working but I have lost the end piece that allows you to control the clock (like the trip reset button on the other post).
I'm not going to replace the entire cluster for this tiny piece - I adjusted it once with needlenose pliers. I'm hoping someone might have a junked one laying around.
Car is an 04 Turbo.
Thanks!

It Was late so I was to tired to pay attention or type lol,but if you go to autoatlantas web site and go to the correct year model and look under the electrical heading they are there. If you take the part number and search they can be found for around a dollar less=this is just the end turning **** which is I think what he wants.Good luck

The end **** is the only part that has a number other than the entire display panel. The shaft is what breaks and there is no Porsche part number for it. They are very hard to get. Definitely not from a dealer.
Oh well thats what was missing on a 2004 I was looking at and that part fixed it. I guess if the shaft is broken I would fab a piece or have it made/or find a cheap doner cluster.Hope he gets it fixed.
I'm just looking for the end button, so this is exactly what I need, especially for $13. Slider - I did find the post part for sale on Ebay for $80 if you still need it.
The quote I got for the entire cluster was like $3500!!!!
