I said not crazy, didn't say don't like. Guess reading comprehension escapes you, but jumping to conclusions and making assumptions is a strong suit of yours. I would say typical Porsche owner, but I know quite a few and they aren't like that at all.

I could be not crazy about something and be ambivalent about it in general without having to like or dislike it in particular.

Besides, I didn't know this site had a requirement that you had to be a Porsche fanboy to join. Certainly didn't say that when I registered in 04 and doesn't say it now.

Yeah, but still not as cool as your Ford Contour.

Aweee Yeah! One hell of a P-car there. I agree, glad to see the owner using it an not letting the cobwebs get too think.

Also....raced at High Point you say? Hell of a track. Would hate to go off in that thing as some places on that course are like going off 4x4 style and your car starts digging in deep

I was waiting for one of you P-car owners to jump on that. I picked it because my car was not available on the list of choices. Then I can see who jumps on it like they scored a golden victory.

By the way, the C4S is a nice car, but pretty slow in the scheme of things. Good color choice, still.

Yeah, High Points is a great track and very challenging. A guy brought out a Boxster on Friday, went off track and rolled it over twice. Thankfully the driver was unhurt and the passenger only banged up a bit.

I'm going to be at HPR tomorrow but I'm guessing this guy isn't going to be there? Never seen a GT1 in person and looks like I missed my chance.

How did he manage that on HPR Jon? What corner was it on? With the gravel or grass runoff pretty much everywhere I'm very surprised, especially with the relatively low speeds a Boxster can do on the track (especially versus your car or mine! ).

HPR has been known to retain water in the grassy portions quite well, making for some very soft soil that can potentially flip/roll a car going sideways(tires sink in and it can get bad quick)

Hey Scott,
They are running the short course now at HPR due to the paving work in turn 6 and 8. As a result you are using the cut through from the front straight right into the downhill turn 9a and 09b. The Boxster overcooked the turn from the front straight and went off pavement on the outside of the turn, tried to get back on track but when he hit the pavement it tossed him sideways and he slid all the way across the the other side and went into the grassy area where his wheels dug in on tossed him over a few times. He ended up right side up just south of the turn 13. I was going to come out on Sunday but figured it would get real crowded with the short track set up. Have fun and be safe out there...

Wow! You win! You're so smart! What a brilliant trap! You must have worked on that one for a long, long time. Yes, a golden victory for you!

Not really. Just did it a few days ago and you immediately went for it. Very simple, actually, and I was surprised how fast you went for the low hanging fruit as if that justified your existence in the world as a P-car driver.
