No A/C

dmilzoff is infamous around these parts
No A/C

Just when it got hot in NY my A/C decided to fail. The fan stays on and the A/C will shut down for 3-4 minutes, then the A/C will turn on for 2-4 minutes before the cycle repeats.
Will low freon cause this? I guess I then have to look for a freon leak.

Hope it's a minor problem.
Glad I live in the Bay Area peninsula . Last year I turned on the A/C maybe 5 times , just to make sure the refrigerant and compressor don't go out from sitting unused. Great weather here for turbocharged engines - 65-75 degrees w/o humidity ! When it hits 85 for a couple days, everyone talks about " the heat wave "
