I am RWD with pss9's, and am looking for a fast, razor sharp street car with mild track duty in mind. Will i regret installing this kit? Price seems right.

I remember years back i fitted a set of H-sport bars on my s4 and my wholesale cost on the set was nearly 200 dollars more then tireracks price on the 996 bars

Good bars. Used to have a fitment issue on the rear x member on 01 cars. they have remedied that. I just got a set for a guy and a set for the shelf. Let me know if I can help.
I also like just a rear GT3 bar to help with understeer. The Eibachs on the street feel great though.

You want razor sharp turn in ?
Get the gt2 rear sway, do not touch the front swaybar. Get some toe out up front. If you need further input let me know. I did that swaybar, and it made my car handle worse. I spoke to a few reps at Eibach and they told me they make swaybars for Porsche tuners and i'm the first of the bunch whom said I did not like them. FWIW. So my opinion might not be right, but the GT2 rear sway was really good improvement over stock.

I have the eibach sways with Tarrett drop links, Pss9's , semi solid mounts and strut braces fit all 4 then have a stage 2 track alignment turn in is as fast as a Boxster.
I know because I have a tuned boxster as well with the same mods except H&R coil overs.
The alignment is the key.
good luck

I am thinking of adding just the rear eibach bar... How do you guys feel about that with some of Sambo's secret alignment sauce :-)
Man i love this car now with some real tires!!!

A used set of GT3 sway bars pops up often. They are a great set to have on a RWD TT. I really like mine, good balance front and rear. Some of the aftermarket ones are too stiff for good balance, and they are really heavy relative to factory ones.
Enrique, I tried that rear sway only on a RWD TT. Not the same effect as on AWD TT. Makes car feel sloppy.

I'm running the Eibachs and they made a huge difference. I have them set to soft front/medium rear. The alignment is really key too though. Go with 1/32" toe out up front with as much camber as they can get (probably only a half degree) and the same toe in on the rear with 2 degrees neg camber. If you really want a more aggressive setup then go to 1/16" on each side toe out/in front/rear. (that's what I run for my car that sees monthly track duty and a lot of aggressive street driving)
That kit is absolutely great and will remove the basic understeer of the TT just in neutral settings front and rear. Then fine tune depending on your tire setup and personal preference.
For some fun, set it hard rear and soft or middle front and you start getting a tail happy car.
For super smooth roads you can really set them hard front and rear and make up for the soft PSS9 springs a little. But if you have a lot of roads that will make the wheels move up and down individually (often then case in canyons), set the bars at medium or even slightly to the softer side.
I used this kit with both 02 and 01 996TTs. I highly recommended them.

Got it. But fitting these from stock ones will not throw the alignment out of whack to where it needs to be redone to avoid premature/uneven tire wear, right?
