Weird electrical issue

I have an interesting symptom developing. This morning I took a quick left and then right and it was somewhat bumpy. Next thing I know I lose all power! Like I turned the key off. All of the lights were on but the motor was dead. I shut down and restarted, everything normal. Was driving it home, hit a hard bump, enough to make the CD player skip and it did it again. I restarted and good. Got on the highway and hit another bump and she blipped but didnt die. I got a abs and psm light. I think it could be related to a bad battery because its groaning a little at startup, especially in the cold. Any input guys?

i also just had the strangest symptoms caused by a low battery. car had been sitting for a week or so, battery is relatively new and i trickle charge it often. but left it parked with all the ecu/anti-theft electronics sucking up juice etc.

so while driving at highway speeds suddenly the cd refused to eject, radio blinked on and off for an hour or two, fully cycled ignition on/off to no avail. it would go on off without my having any control over it..got a CEL.. etc etc.

threw it on the trickle charger again, and all is normal. my conclusion; dying batteries on these cars can cause all kinds of confusing issues. i would charge your battery first. see if that helps. your instinct is probably correct.
