New Owner - '03 996TT
Although I've been part of 6speed for 8 years now, this is my first Porsche.
I saw the car listed at Lamborghini of Dallas as the PO (Rennlist member who offered to sell me the car) had decided to trade-in after all. I worked with John and Louie there (really good guys...can't say enough good things about them) to seal the deal. I had the PPI setup at RUF Auto Center in Dallas where it passed with flying colors and needing almost nothing (Hans at RAC was easy to work with and very thorough)...though John made sure Boardwalk Porsche corrected the few things it did need.
On to the details:
- 2003 996TT with 42k miles.
- Milltek Exhaust
- GIAC Tune (and handheld flashloader)
- Fabspeed Headers
- Turbo S/GT3 Wheels
Car also came with the stock exhaust, stock twists which were just refinished in GT silver (perfect condition), 40k service just done, brand new tires (0 miles), and a stack of records dating back to 2006!
I've driven a stock '02 996TT on a number of occasions and this car is a different animal with the tune and exhaust. Complete monster.
I purchased the car on Thursday of last week, the car was picked up by Jason @ American Auto Transport - 631-834-7950 (highly recommended for enclosed transport nationwide...super careful and I received Iphone Map updates each day with his progress) and delivered this afternoon:
Only planned mod is to swap out the amber turn signals and call it done. Due to my driveway angle/slope, stock height is all I can get away with!

That's a gorgeous 996TT...love the seal gray cars and it's very clean too!
Those wheels appear to make it look like it rides even higher than stock though...that's a shame you cannot lower it. I need to lower mine too, but I don't think mine looks that tall. Could be the photo angles of course!
