red one drove by my house two weeks ago as I was pulling out. Very eye catching on the road --- speed limit was 35 and it's a busy road so he was just cruisin.

How much and are they leagl for road use in the good old USA? They look very interesting.

 

I believe that it is road legal and from what I can tell if you buy the rolling chassis less motor and tranny it is $89.000.00 then you add the motor from amersped which for the 640 hp is $20,000.00 but I think you still have to pay for the G50 Porsche transmission plus installation of both. So you are at $109,000 plus G50 tranny plus install. Still alot less than the CCR and nothing could touch you.

This thing only weighs 2100 pounds with 640 hp it would be an incredible track car!

The more I look at this car the more I like it! I just wish there was someone in the US you could have give you a turnkey car. I called the guy at amerspeed and all they do is sell you the motor. You still have to buy a G50 tranny and have someone install both.

As of a couple of months ago, Amerspeed had one on loan for "display" at their location, but I spoke with the owner of Ultima in the U.K. and he said he would sell it. I believe it's got a 500hp motor in it right now. It's brand new with a Porsche 6-speed transmission.
