torque settings, suspension.

Evening folks.

Just joined your happy band of petrol heads and i've got to say, this site is very impressive. Lot of info from lots of like minded people.

My question may have been asked before, if so then you would have to excuse me.

I've just replaced the two front control arms (shaped like a tuning fork) that are fixed between the wishbones and the body. This seems to have cured that horrible clonking. Does anyone know the torque setting for the large 14 x 1.5 x 110 mm bolt that goes up through the front bushing? It was tight with a capital F to get off but i dont want to swing on it too much as i might end up going round in circles.

Many thanks

Ouch! I hope the driver at least bought the end of day round of beers for you. Great looking ride, even with the little side kiss. Good luck on the repairs.
