Mods:

2001 996TT engine: 3.6L, stock compression ratio and camshafts, port and valve work, Protomotive headers, Protomotive Intercoolers, Protomotive Exhaust system, Protomotive Air Intake system, large throttle body, high flow fuel injectors, Twin-ball bearing Garrett turbo's, dual 44mm wastegates.

 

 

I believe this is Alex's car. Alex is the person who tried to buy KA awhile back. I guess when I wouldn't sell he decided to mod his own. Alex also has a beautiful nitrous injected lambo.

Oh well, I guess we will have to get together in a few months when KA is completed. It looks like Alex and Promotive have done an excellent job. I know Protomotive has had the car since right after the first shootout. That's a little longer than S Car Go has had mine.

For what it is worth I would love to see a friendly get together between Alex's Promotive Car, Todd's EVO Car, Kevin's Car, Elliott750's TTP Car and Killer Angel. There couldn't possibly be a loser in that company.

A 996tt with Carillo rods can safely run 7500. We use to run KA's first motor to 7400-7500 on many occassions. With proper breathing, maximum hp will be made at 7400 rpm's using the stock cams.
