Numeric install, a few surprises with my existing setup

So the prior owner had installed an Agency Power Short Shift kit, I noticed a few things.

#1 The cable rod end piece on the passenger side is a billet piece, I went head and fitted the Numeric shifter ball into the AP billet ball joint, since I don't have stock piece. Appears to be fine.

#2 Decided to test engagement before proceeding, when engaging 2nd and 4th gear, the AP billet piece thats connects to the stick and shifter cable is making contact with the Numeric shifter frame towards the front. The cables were marked from the prior install so I know everything is in the same spot as before. Gears appear to be engaging just fine, but I think it may end up being a bit noisy.

Not sure if this can be adjusted ? I suppose the prior install may not have been spot on, and the shifter may be too far back while in neutral. I could move the Numeric from the middle position to the shortest throw, and that may provide more clearance.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

I was able to make an adjustment where the shifter cable snaps in (u-joint), and slide it back one click. Seems alot better. I may be fine, may have posted too soon
