anyone have problems with evo waste gate rods breaking?

every time my car is "done", my WG rod breaks! WTH... woke up early so i could do some 3-4th gear pulls and on the way home i have low boost.. this has happened 3 times now.. called evo last time and they said i'd have to take off my WG's and send them back for inspection... they have less than 10k on them...

i think i know why this keeps happening.. I THINK the metal of the rods are defected, here's why.. i thought it was the same side that has broken twice before, but it's not, it's the other side. it only happens in cold weather. when i am driving hard, in full boost, its fine. however, when i drive home the temp of the metal cools fast because of the weather and the headers cooling down, thus causing the rods to crack... that's the only thing i can think of???

I really dont know,might be possible? ,,
But that doesnt sound like a good answer either? If that was the case EVO should have known that by now?
Are they aligned right and not hitting ?

jgood is infamous around these parts
I have the same problem, real PITA!

Have to sync the turbos every time one of these breaks. EVO does not agree that they sell an inferior product.

Markski, where do we find the 'thicker' replacement rod?

Hi
I have changed my rods lots of times, very annoying!

I'm tired of the hassle and made new in Incoloy and now it seems to work
