Car covers

What would any of you recomend for a car cover? I want to use it outside occasionally but it will mostly be used in my garage. Should I order a custom made cover or just go to Discount Auto Parts and buy a generic one. How much do car covers run?
By putting a car cover on the car in a parking lot do you think I am asking for trouble from vandals?

I have the silver one from Porsche and it works well. I have the Aerokit on the car as well, and the cover has no problem covering the entire back of the car.

I bought mine from CCC, as they were the only one at the time not asking me to template the GT-2 wing. I paid big-bucks for the one I have but it's very light and folds tiny. It's the only one they say is suitable for washing in a regular washer. It's mostly for indoor and light outdoor use. If you visit their website they have a table of features.

I recommend the Euro Porsche car cover made of a stretchy material with a fabric underside...According to a Euro Tequipment catalogue, TT with Aerokit should use the same cover as a GT2 (which is what I have now..). Great cover for indoor use with a nice colored Porsche crest on hood, PORSCHE lettering on rear decklid and "turbo" or "GT2" script on front chin spoiler. They run around $300.

I had a custom indoor cover made in black fleece lined material, with red piping and a discreet P-logo on the bonnet. I also got them to put three large pockets on the inside on either side of the car, and supply 6 x 1 metre hi-density foam square panels to go in them. This is a great idea as you can use either all / any or none of them at any time and stops any door dings , however uncaring your parking neighbour is.

The company is here in the UK:
