Ferrarislave is infamous around these parts
It won't touch a E55, but it has a pretty big amount of grunt.

Smoke an E55? Not the current one with 469hp and 516 torque. Check any magazine's test.

Nope. Don't think so. Unless of course you think it will smoke a 996TT also?? They are quoting 13.2 1/4mile times for that car while the E55 is a 12.2 - 12.4 car.

I've run my E55 with a 996TT on the highway and it was a pretty much even pull with me edging out as speed increased.

Don't get me wrong I love the look of the SRT-8 and am tempted to buy one to add to the stable but it wont touch an E55 in performance. Although, if I got one, I would slap a supercharger on it and then the tables would be turned.

Yeah you have to be impressed with this car for the money $46,000 which is almost half the cost of the E55. This car is all motor no turbo's or super's so yes you could add one of those to this car and probably add another 100 hp easy.

Did you go and drive it yesterday? Is the dealer asking MSRP+? I have a dealer friend offering me his allocated '8' at MSRP...then he went on vacation. From what've I read on the 300c forum everyone loves them...which I guess is generally the case with a new car.

There has been some mention on that site of superchargers, but the consensus is that the tranny can't take it. There are quite a few CTS-V's however making 500+ rwhp with FI, a tune, headers, etc...all for about $10k. Not bad considering you can get a new CTS V in the low/mid $40's. The only negative being the rear end is garbage...

Dealer here wants $10K over. GFY for a Chrysler?

Dealer said "if you don't want to pay $10K over, you obviously are looking at the wrong car" I said, "no I'm looking at the right car, just the wrong dealer"
. . and drove off in my GT3 . . what a loser trying to browbeat me?

Car looks great though! I would only buy at MSRP or under.

I forgot to add that for $46k you get a car which for another 5k in mods will smoke a E55.

So $30k less then a E55..

Not bad.

My neighbor owns the local Chysler/Nissan/Jeep store. He brought one home a month ago so all of a sudden I uhhh needed an emergency ride up to my Harley dealer for a umm part on my Choppers Inc. chopper hehe. He was like ok anything to get me away from the wife and kids for awhile.
It is about a 30 minute ride so he drove up and I drove back. That car is a hella machine in all aspects. It is a friggen rocket off the line and from a stomp to the floor romp at 80 mph. It handles nice, quiet when not beating on it, rides ok but the interior is huge inside, you could put 6 peeps in there easy.

He told me that SRT or Mopar has a pkg coming out for it for $650 and 35 more hp., so you are at 460 hp easy. The one we had was blk and mean looking for sure.

He went to say that the SRT division is being kept afloat $$ wise by the Neon SRT-4 only. He is having a hard time unloading his stock of what he has already, mainly the Viper Truck which has not sold worth a crap. Gee at 8 mpg I cant imagine why.
