Can someone tell me if the superceded part numbers are simply new part numbers or if the 997.2 GT2RS Intercoolers have been modified in anyway? Is there an online source that can clarify any differences?

The older Numbers are 997-110-639-70 and 997-110-640-70, while the new numbers are 997-110-639-71 and 997-110-640-71

 

Have you found any difference between 997-110-639-70 and 997-110-639-71? Will 997-110-639-71 fit 997.1 int the same way as 997-110-639-70 do?

 

I never got to the bottom of the part number change, but it seems everyone is selling the new part number, and I bought mine recently from ECS, and they look identical and appear to have the exact same dimensions at the ICs in Earl's DIY. I did post some hose fitment DIY here:
