I actually think they are easy...

I wipe them down with a slightly damp rag after driving and they stay clean until the next car wash. Now, I do take Ben's approach between washes on the inside of the rims.... I don't look at the inside.

msindi is infamous around these parts
My car does not see salt and the problems have nothing to do with weather.,,,you can post and ask all the HRE owners how tough it is to kepp those lips clean and see...They always stain so easily and are tough to 100% polish without any swirls (I am a perfectionist and dont want a very shiny lip at the expense of fine surface scratches due to some polishes)

Mansour,

Why would HRE's be any different than any other highly polished lip? Or are you saying highly polished lips in general?
