they didnt give me any specifics in the email so i asked for data sheets and more info. about 1800$ for the set 8 to 10 weeks lead time.
something they can do i liked was make make custom fitted turbo blankets for about 175$ each. not a bad price

it was a generic request for billet wheels in a k24 rebuild. 875$ per side. i have emailed them for more detailed info, but im optimistic this could be a nice upgrade!

Dragging this thread back up from the dead. Does anyone have any more info on these k24/68HTA set ups? Does anyone have them or know of someone with the set up? Long story short I've been contemplating which way to go with my K24's for some time now and I thought what the hell I'll take the path less traveled, lol. I've seen lots of discussion on the topic but would like to see some actual figures. If no one has any let me hear some "informed" opinions. Am I smart, brave or a complete idiot for doing this, haha.

I am doing this next year as my next mod (along with a new clutch) and will tune it so that I am below that sweet spot for blowing a head or rods.

I spoke with them last week at FP and they said $2500 and 4 weeks from when they get my K24s.

I'll be interested to see results

I thought about them when I did my 24/20g but I'm not sure the bang for the buck was there.

Like said above, not many details or results

On my 24/20 I made 690 rwhp with meth on my race tune. Not sure I want anymore than that.

I wish my spool was a it faster but I'm in stock turbo inlets still.

Speak to Sambo and he will hook you up, he was great to deal with! He had a set in stock and is having a couple more sets being assembled for him. I can't recommend him enough!

It's said they flow about about the same as the 20g up top around 47lb/min, but spool is supposed to be as good or better then the 18g.

If one runs E85 on the K24/20s it should spool much quicker yes ?

Also, are Sambos billets the normal K24/18s or the Forced Performance 68mm HTA ?

I was thinking if I go the FP 68mm HTA I can tune with lower boost on the corn juice and still get 650-700 rwhp and about 650 lbs-ft

I purchased the k24/68 HTA's from Sambo, they are built from Tial actually not FP.

Anyone hear this?,,
I heard the new economical set-up that is being done by 911 Tuning over seas is stuffing 3071wheels in the K24,,,the housing needs to be extensively modified for the bigger wheel ,, its suppose to come in quicker then 18gs and give more power down low then 18gs AND also have more power then the 20gs from Mid to all the way up the scale??
Just sharing..

Sorry, late to the party. Thanks for the kind words prk hunt!

To clarify...Yes my billets are done by Tial with the 68mm wheel and their 1bar WG kit. Always re-built like new with warranty and always ready to go with cores available top save you time. So condition and pushing it is never an issue. The wheel does flow bout 47PPM with faster response than an 18 or 20G. In stock and ready if anyone is interested.

...I have worked with a several top tuners including Markski and had awesome results with these. It's all about what you do with them.
