I have the 19's (8.5 and 11) . When I first had the set installed, the factory 18's were on the car on the way home from the shop. My 19's were at home waiting. After installing the 19's, I didnt really notice much change except the little bumps on the road were felt just a little more, not much though.

Well, would you honestly suggest (my suspension is currently at JIC) going with the 7/10s or keeping the 8/12s? Remember, I don't really track my car and I put 7-9,000 miles a year on the car; sometimes on rough roads while running 19" HREs.

In my experience, for our cars, the ride quality difference between the 18" vs. 19" will be more effected by tire choice than size.

Also, in my experience, I highly doubt you will be able to tell the ride quality difference between 7/10 and 8/12 springs... the dampers' valving play a bigger role in this case.

I think thats up to you....for me personally, I drive my car under the exact same conditions you do. Given that, I would think the 8/12's are pretty stiff. Give Stephen a call at Imagine Auto (www.imagineauto.com). He is who I bought them from and I know he alternates the springs on his car for different events. He could give you a lot more insight than I can.

He and I have already talked about this very subject. I guess it really comes down to my knowledge of the local roads and how much I will be driving.

Use my car mainly for street driving and switched out the 8/12 for 7/10 (jic). For every day driving the 8/12's are too harsh IMO.

maybe the question should be expanded to Pss9 or JIC or JRZ.

I'd want to try JRZ someday.
