Thanks, JP. That picture is from before I put the aerokit on the car. A clean, heated garage is the perfect place to detail or work on a car.

No, that's my home garage, not our shop where we normally do the design, prototype and testing work. However, the first X-cellerator was actually designed and test fitted in that same room over the cold winter months, due to the season, several years ago now. I would mark the pipe, bring it to our office/shop for cutting and welding, bring it back to test fit, make an adjustment, bring it back and forth again, etc. until the entire system was designed, welded and installed. Finally, when the first test fire occurred in that space - I knew instantly that I was on to something good...then, after the first brief test drive, I was very excited! Next, we jigged for it and began to produce the SpeedTech X-cellerator systems....

"X-cellerator" was my sons idea for a name because it has an X in the middle and is designed to make the car accelerate faster. At first I thought it was funny, then after a week of trying to come up with something else, I thought that's actually not so bad and went with it :-)

 

Critters! I once found a rabbit in my engine bay!
