Just curious and toying withthe idea of adding the LED light bar in the front bumber like the 997"s. I am not sure what the call it but its the row of lights under the headlights. Has anyone added this to there 996? or know who sells them? of couse I would want them on all the time and not to look too aftermarket

 

they exist. i've seen pics. but can't remember where. if it was a custom one off they were very nicely done. but i'm still on the fence about after market lighting on these. but if the led tails ever get made(?!) they'll go nicely with my new shiny led interior and plate lights i just ordered from ecs. lol.

I agree. I would stay away from it and wait for the LED tail lamps to hit the market. LED interior/exterior lamps are a fantastic upgrade. I did my entire 996.

 

Any chance a vendor has a "kit" that includes the interior and exterior LED upgrades?

 

try ecs a board sponsor here. i just got the interior kit and (2) plate led's. seems like we are all waiting for the tails to be mfg'd. the led's that fit under the headlamps/trim are a bit more elusive. i've never seen the for sale, but i've seen them in pics here.
