I thought the only approved tire are R888 and Hoosier R or A6? If I remember right no DR's at all?

Hey Marty,Todd and Tim and Stacy(Sloss's old car) easily have the power to go 230 but IMO their biggest enemy is mother nature(wind).There is a big difference in the 996 between wind and no wind.I wish them all the best and hope they do it safely.
