Gonna buy one...but which?
So I am a speed junky. I can also turn a wrench...very well I might add.
I am going to be buying a 996t in the next bit. Here is the question...
Consider same year/condition/mileage
EVO MS GT660 TIP
or
6spd K24s, flash, clutch, headers, exhaust
I can drive manual (my M5 was) but right now I have an auto (mostly because the auto was faster than the manual counterpart)
Any thoughts here?

Irrelevant. The connection between Porsche and driver is enhanced greatly with a manual. I'd even question a PDK, I just love being able to depress a clutch and run through the gears. Good luck, drive them both and decide what's best for you.

It sounds like you're interested in making some power. Keep in mind you will have to spend a good bit on upgrading the tip to handle the power. The manual can handle just about anything power wise, this side of crazy.
tip
what's involve to fortify a Tip,max hp,and cost? just curious
If you are like Porka (like having sex in a car), go with the Tip so you can have a free hand. If you drive like f1crazydriver, you'd need a 6 speed or maybe double that. If you are like NorCalTurbo, you need neither because you don't have time to drive it anyway.
On a serious note... the Tip is pretty much max'd out with gt660; you'll need a tranny built if you want more power. GT660 is a great all around kit with great low-end plus decent high-end. For the K24, get ready to put more money into it; there are rooms to grow.
Out of the box (current state) between two cars, gt660 is a faster car and you'll have more fun but it has less potential.
Some say Tip is lack of connection to the car, but I have never felt disconnected. If you ever decided to get the Tip; before you purchase, make sure you do some good runs to ensure there is no slipping on the tranny.
