I would like to confirm that you will not fit into the GT3 seats. They are made for skinny Europeans, not giant Americans. I am 5'10" and 175 lbs, and they are just right if not snug for me, but my larger friends, forget it. No way. Think horse jockeys, or skinny race car drivers.

While I'm at it, let me add that they look REALLY cool, but are not even really comfortable. They are designed to hold you in place in the high-G turns, and that is where it ends.

Mike Chen is infamous around these parts
So many people have told me that..... Unfortunately, I don't know what other street seat I can get into if this one does work.... Is it just uncomfortable or I simply won't fit? I posted a few threads both here at 6speed and rennlist to see if anyone around the Bay Area has these installed and can let me sit in one.

I'm 6'3 ~285lbs 38in waist and fit in the Recaro SPG Xls wonderfully. They also appear to fit in car without "massaging" the trans tunnel.

I bought the Sparco Evo 2 US. I'm 6'2 ,220lbs, 35 in waist and I fit in them perfectly. Evo 3s wont fit unless you trim the seat. Based on your height and weight I think you might be able to pull it off to fit in an Evo 2 US since it was designed for 34 to 38 in waists

They will fit in the car relatively easy. I had to do some custom fabrication to be able to clear the door with the upper portion of the seat. I pretty much had to offset the seat 0.5-1inches towards the center of the car.

I'm meeting up with a local guy tomorrow to see about a set of GT3 seats. Hopefully I can fit in them and call it a day :-)
