I dont know why you think the 996tt's will take such a dump when 997tt comes out. Yes I might like the 997tt more, but the 996tt's are already on a steap depreciating curve. I cannot see low mileage clean turbos going for less than 60k for at least 3 years. The only people who think the 996 turbo will take a dump are people who cannot afford the turbos at current prices. I still cannot imagine a turbo depreciating more than 12k a year or that would be ridiculous for a 70-90k car.
