I currently have an 01 Turbo with Digital Sound and Nav without Bose. Is the factory Bose amp a direct plug and play with the factory amp. My 96 BMW 328is did not have the HK sound, but I bought a factory HK amp from Ebay, which added some power, and I did not have to splice any wires at all.
Also does anyone have a black Bose subwoofer enclosure for a 996 for sale that they no longer use or want? Thanks.

 

Bose amp have low ohm and isn't really compatible w regular speakers unless the speakers are designed to run on low ohm as well which I doubt your HIFI speakers can handle.

You just want to swap Bose amp w your HIFI amp? I wouldn't! You are better off w an aftermarket amp like eclipse or something. While doing so, you should replace the speakers as well.

 

Buy some after market stuff. Bose blows.
