Questions about 996tt color change?

I've seen a few on the internet but I haven't seen one in person. I'm curious to see how the engine bay is done. I was told the engine bay can be painted without removing the engine but everytime I look indside, there's that portion all the way in the back that looks hard to reach.

I'm keeping the car so the resale doesn't bother me.

almost forgot... here's the color i want.

it's impossible to find a PTS car and vinyl wrap is not going to give the same wet look as a proper paint job.

If you start out with a black car, the engine bay & trunk area is not that important. Just leave it black. Otherwise, take it all apart.. or wrap it.

i was looking at the green iforged 996tt build and i realized that car was originally black. my car is arctic silver. if it's not possible to have the engine bay painted without removing the engine, then i'll just have the car resprayed in the original color.

To do it right with that drastic a change would be very costly to do it right. AND IMHO it would just never be right unless you did a complete strip job; issue like inner door jams, trunk, under wiper area, engine bay, around window seals, door seals, the list goes on and on.

Just paint it the OEM color or sell it and but the color you want.

Here just for you, just need lots O cash.

I just did mine, if you are a perfection guy, you may want to drop the engine to do so, but I think it just fine to spray with the engine there...

Nice color. Did you have the engine bay painted? Im a bit of a perfectionist but if I can achieve something special, it doesnt have to be perfect.
