Ya your right well i think i have an idea why it failed. Freed Performance is very cool i watched the whole thing.

The clutch was installed before i bought the car i know who did it tho terrible shop NO NAMES LOL

Well i started looking there was no lubricant on anything it was dry and i matter of fact my sleeve needs to be replaced it has grooves in it. There was hot spots but never had an issue slipping ever. I sometimes get a heaviness of the pedal when im in high RPM downshifting.

I do have to say Sachs Performance Clutch system is amazing.

Bummer. You need to find an Indy that willl stand behind their work. When I had my clutch done, I hated it. it was like a toggle switch..almost undriveable..I stalled it almost everytime...they took it back out, sent it to Clutchmasters, modified it, sent it back, reinstalled it, all at no charge to me. Try to find service..even if you have to pay a little..worth it... and cheaper, better service than a dealer..

Ya i know this guy is pretty good. He fixed everything he will not let you leave until its perfect that's what i like about this shop. The other shop that did the job ohh boy don't want to get started there.

Put it this way it was so badly broken that i couldn't even push the pedal all they way down to click the starter to start the car LOL. I even took a video LOL.

I broke three of them in 12 months and a couple others broke multiples during same timeframe. Longer eared release bearing for the thinner LWFW.....BTW....if you need a mechanic between Atlanta and Nashville I have the indy for you. Master Porsche mechanic before leaving dealership to manage private collection......some of which was sold recently for 24 million to guys like Seinfeld and Leno....including a 917-30 for 4.4MM....and he is only $80 per hour!....in Hickory, NC.

It is not uncommon for the 964 t/o bearing to fail.

Sometimes one needle bearing falls out one install and cause the ear to load uneven and break. I lean even more that way when you state that the sleeve is badly warn.

Only my .02
