Disengaged Clutch And Heard A Snap

700hp power kit with new slave cylinder and accumulator. Stage 3 clutch masters and lighten flywheel <<< I have had the clutch and flywheel in there for over 2 years.


Ok so yesterday i drive the car get on it like usual and everything is good. Turn car off to go inside and then come back out. Well i push the clutch in to start the car and i hear a bang sound like a ping underneath me. I'm like WTF. Well gets better now i can't even get the pedal far enough to activate the click to start the car.

So i click the button that activates the click sound to start the car. Ok after that i push the clutch in i feel no disengage of the clutch its just soft. So no will not go into gear but will go through all gears when car is off. Also when pushing the clutch down i still don't hear the click to activate so i can start the car.


What the heck happened???? I can take a video too this is odd as hell. No i have never had any slipping of my clutch and never had any problems.

Update: I go outside push the clutch all the way in no click to activate the car from the pedal to start the car. Started it up manually and push the clutch in no disengage of clutch feels like something is stuck at the bottom. I can take a video from my phone if needed. This is the oddest thing i have ever seen.

Sounds like the accululator let go. Maybe even blew or popped off (if you heard a ping)?
If you don't have a warranty, just do the GT2 slave mod. You'll never have this problem again. Do a search here for it...

sounds like throw out bearing either broke an ear off or just pulled out of the diaphragm.

See thats both what i thought but talk to ski on here and said no way doesn't sound like a throw out bearing. Even if it was it would not cause your pedal to go all the way down and not start it self. Ill take a video here today this is really weird. When i start it no rattling or anything of course the flywheel rattles.


My accumulator is 3 weeks old.

no i live outside nashville tn but the crew at b/i are worth the drive. i have known jason for yrs , he did a lot of work on my amg in the past. they have a full shop, dyno dynamics awd dyno and in house tuner. i have a cylinder 1 glitch that he is going to look at for me

I have heard about there tuning and people say they have great results i have the protomotive tune. Can you pm your number.

Hey thx. Well just tried to push on the clutch to get it all the way. Now i heard a crack pr snap again and now the clutch pedal will not go down its stuck up top.

Ya my whole clutch system is almost new so this is a freak of nature mistake im guessing not sure why it happened. 1500.00 mistake.
